and the dreams that they sail upon
pass late into the night
and the loved ones that they made
echo memories from new touches
To the people who chose to forget
the laughter and cries
the smiles and frowns
the warmth and fears
To the lonely people
who fell in love with a poet
that danced on words
and sculpted songs with his heart
To all these people
self-pity walks with you.
